Depositing and Withdrawing at Bally Bet: A Mobile Guide

Depositing and withdrawing on the Bally Bet app or mobile site: all the payment methods, limits and timescales you need to know about.

Depositing and Withdrawing at Bally Bet: A Mobile Guide

Whether you're topping up your balance between play or cashing out after a win, managing your money – on mobile or on desktop - at Bally Bet is straightforward.

Here's everything you need to know about deposits and withdrawals, including the methods available, how long things take and what to do if something doesn't go to plan.

How to deposit at Bally Bet

Making a deposit

Getting funds into your account takes seconds. Hit the Deposit button at the top of the home page, or navigate to Menu > My Account > Deposit Funds. The minimum deposit per transaction is £10, and your balance updates as soon as the transaction goes through.

Before you can deposit and play, you'll need to have completed identity verification. If you haven't done this yet, head to your account settings to upload the required documents.

We aim to automatically verify every account upon registration. On occasion, we may need you to send documents confirming your full name, date of birth and address; if so, you'll hear from us by email. We aim to review all documents within 3 working days.

When you first create your account, you'll be prompted to add a payment method. To add another one later, go to My Account > Deposit Funds > Add Method. Bear in mind your playing balance will need to be below £50, and any pending withdrawals processed before a new method can be added.

Payment methods

Bally Bet accepts the following deposit methods:

  • Visa Debit

  • Visa Electron

  • Mastercard

  • Apple Pay

    (iOS and macOS devices)

  • Google Pay

  • Instant Bank Transfer

Note: credit cards cannot be used to deposit at Bally Bet or any other UK-licensed online casino, following the UK Gambling Commission’s ban on credit card deposits in 2020.

Each payment method can only be registered to one account at a time, and deposits must always be made using a method in your own name.

Deposit limits

The maximum amount you can deposit in a single transaction varies by method:

Payment method

Maximum per transaction

Debit Cards

£10,000

Google Pay

£10,000

Instant Bank Transfer

£10,000

Apple Pay

£5,000

You can also set your own daily, weekly or monthly limits using the Spend Limit tool in your account settings. See our spend limit guide for more on how to set one up.

Quick Deposit

If your balance drops below the minimum wager for a game you're playing, you may see a Quick Deposit screen appear automatically. This lets you top up without leaving the game – useful on mobile if you don't want to navigate away mid-game.

Quick Deposit is entirely optional. You can close the screen and return to the game at any time without depositing. Before confirming, you can edit the amount, switch payment method or add a new one.

Your balance updates instantly once the deposit goes through, and all existing deposit limits and responsible gambling settings still apply.

How to withdraw at Bally Bet

Making a withdrawal

To withdraw, go to My Account > Withdraw and enter the amount you want to take out. The minimum withdrawal is £10, and you'll need to have completed any outstanding verification requests before a withdrawal can be processed.

For security reasons, Bally Bet operates a closed loop policy, which is where withdrawals are returned to the last method you deposited from. If that method doesn't support withdrawals (Google Pay, for example), you may be asked to provide other documents.

How long do withdrawals take?

  • Visa Debit – processed within 4–24 hours. If your provider supports Visa Direct, funds arrive within 4 hours. Otherwise allow up to 3 working days.

  • Mastercard – processed within 4–24 hours, then up to 1 working day to clear.

  • Bank transfer – processed within 4–24 hours, then up to 1 working day to clear.

Bank holidays can affect timescales for card and bank withdrawals. If this is the case, funds will clear within 3 working days once processed.

Apple Pay withdrawals

Apple Pay withdrawals are processed to the bank account linked to your Apple Pay wallet, rather than back to Apple Pay directly. In some cases, you may need to provide bank account details before the withdrawal can go through.

Apple Pay will only appear as a withdrawal option if it was your most recent deposit method and no additional checks are required. If it isn't showing, another available method can be used instead. Apple Pay withdrawals follow standard bank timescales, which is typically one working day once processed.

If an Apple Pay withdrawal fails, the funds are returned to your account balance and you can request a withdrawal via another method.

Tracking your withdrawal

Keep an eye on your withdrawal by visiting My Account > History > Payment History. Statuses work as follows:

  • Requested – not yet processed by Bally Bet

  • Processed – sent by Bally Bet, not yet received by your provider

  • Success – received by your provider, funds available shortly

If funds haven't arrived within five working days of processing, contact our technical team and they can investigate further. Once a withdrawal has been requested, it cannot be cancelled.

Troubleshooting common deposit issues

Here’s a quick rundown of the most common deposit issues and how to resolve them. Our full deposit troubleshooting guide covers every scenario in detail if you need more help.

  • Minimum amount not met - the minimum deposit is £10 per transaction. Anything below that won't go through.

  • Incorrect card details - double-check the card number, name, expiry date and CV2 registered to your account. Any mismatch will cause the deposit to fail.

  • Insufficient funds - make sure your bank balance covers the transaction before trying again.

  • Temporary bank restrictions - some banks apply temporary blocks based on unusual activity. A quick call to your bank can usually resolve this.

  • "Deposits are not permitted with this card" error message - this typically indicates a short-term administrative block while our Customer Due Diligence team carries out a standard review. Check your registered email for any document requests, or contact our support team via Live Chat for next steps.

  • Gambling transactions blocked by your bank - many banks now allow customers to block gambling-related transactions. If this applies, the block can usually be lifted by contacting your bank directly, though it may take up to 72 hours to take effect.

  • Payment method not in your own name - Bally Bet can only accept deposits from methods registered in your own name. Third-party cards or accounts will not be accepted.

  • Outside the UK or Ireland - deposits can only be accepted from within the UK and Ireland as part of our licensing conditions.

  • Funds taken but not added to your balance - log out and back in, then refresh your balance. If funds still haven't appeared, clear your browser cache and cookies and try again. If the issue persists, contact support via our Virtual Assistant and have a copy of your bank statement ready.
