    Signature Live Blackjack Game Overview

The chip sizes available in Signature Live Blackjack range from £5 to £1,000.

    Cards

Signature Live Blackjack uses eight standard decks of 52 cards.

The cards are valued as follows:

    • Numbered cards - worth the number on that card
    • Jack, Queen, King - worth ten
    • Ace - one or 11 (whichever is better for the hand)

Each player receives one card face-up at the end of the betting time.

    How to Get Blackjack

Don't sweat it if you're new to Blackjack. The aim is simple: get closer to 21 before the dealer and don't go bust.

Ever heard of players 'getting Blackjack'? That means their starting hand was worth 21 exactly. This is the ultimate goal, but a rare find.

Achieving Blackjack will award 1.5x your initial bet.

    Insurance Wager

Insurance can be bought if the dealer's up-card is an Ace.

Buying insurance lets you protect yourself against the risk of the dealer having Blackjack - this applies even if you have Blackjack.

Insurance costs 0.5x your main wager - both wagers are settled individually.

Insurance pays out at 2:1 if the dealer has Blackjack.

The dealer wins if you don't have Blackjack but they do.

The game continues to play if the dealer does not have Blackjack.

In the event of both you and the dealer achieving Blackjack, a 'push' will be declared and your stake will be refunded.

    Double Down Feature

Once you have received your first two cards, you can choose to 'Double Down' which will add one more card to your hand.

The value of your wager will be doubled if you choose to place a Double Down wager.

You can't Double Down on a split hand.

    Hit Feature

Choosing 'Hit' will add an extra card to your hand.

You can continue to 'Hit' until your hand value exceeds 21.

    Stand Feature

Opting to 'Stand' signals that you are satisfied with the value of your current hand so no further cards are added.

    Split Feature

If your first two cards are both equal in value, then you can choose to 'Split' them into two hands.

A separate bet is placed on each hand that equals the same as your first bet.

Another card is dealt to each hand so that they both contain two cards.

Unless the initial hand was a pair of Aces, you can choose to 'Hit' on both hands.

A hand can only be 'Split' once.

    Results

Exceeding 21 in a hand will result in a bust.

The dealer will show their second card after everyone else has shown their hands.

At this point, the dealer will have to 'Hit' if their hand equals 16 or less.

If their hand equals a soft 17 or more, they will have to 'Stand'.

To win Signature Blackjack, your hand will need to be closer to 21 than the dealer's or the dealer's hand needs to bust.

A Blackjack hand is more valuable than a hand of 21 that is formed of at least three cards.

Blackjack is also worth more than a hand of 21 that was originally a 'Split' pair.

    Optional Side Bets

Forget your standard game of Blackjack. Signature Live Blackjack offers two side bet options for players to mix up the action with.

    Perfect Pairs Side Bet

It is possible to place this side bet if your first two cards are a pair.

There are three types of Perfect Pairs:

    Bet Behind Feature

In a thrilling twist on a Vegas classic, this game boasts a Bet Behind feature.

This feature allows you to share the outcome of another player's hand by betting behind it.

Choose a Bet Behind spot behind another player's seat before the betting time expires.

If your chosen player decides not to play, then your wager will be returned.

You can also choose to double your wager if your chosen player decides to 'Double Down' or 'Split'.

It is not possible to prevent players from betting behind your hand and you can't bet behind your own hand.

    Hot Player

Looking for the hottest player on the block? No problem.

Look out for the 'Hot Players' icon, which will be assigned to the player with the longest winning streak. These are the ones to beat, folks.

If a Hot Player loses a round, they will also lose the Hot Players icon.

    Return to Player (RTP)

The optimal theoretical payout percentage is:

    • Blackjack – 99.28%
    • Perfect Pairs bet – 95.90%
    • 21+3 bet – 96.30%

The expected return to player is the amount we pay out to players relative to the amount of wagering on the game.

For example, if we take £100 of wagers we will, on average, pay out £99.28 of wins.
